Procedure to download profit and loss report for a tax audit at Zerodha

One of the important document to calculate your tax from the trading income.

You can get the profit and loss report for a tax audit from Console , by following the instructions below -

Follow the steps given below:-

Step 1. Log in to Console ( by entering your login credentials)

Step 2. Go to Reports tab 

Step 3. Find Tax P&L in drop down menu 

Step 4. Select the specific Financial year and the quarter range.  

Step 5. Click on the arrow button 

Step 6. Reports page will open, Click on Download Tax P&L report for all segments. (by click on it you will get consolidated report for all segments like: Equity, FNO and Currency etc.)

Note

1.  The Tax P&L report and Capital Gains report mean the same.

2.  The Tax P&L report will be downloaded as an excel file.

3.  Equity dividends received during a selected period is also available when you download the Tax P&L statement.
